About Our EPC Service

Our EPC service covers domestic (tenanted and void) EPCs, commercial EPCs, and retrofit assessments making us a trusted partner for tenants, estate agents, landlords, and housing associations across the UK.

Requirements For Partnership

DBS Certificate: Must hold a valid DBS certificate and submit it to GES prior to starting work.

Elmhurst Energy Accreditation: Must be accredited with Elmhurst Energy and lodge all EPCs through Elmhurst.

Professionalism: Must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times while working for GES. It is crucial that we maintain the relationship with our customers and represent Green Energy Switch as providing this service.

Proficient in IT: Must be able to efficiently use Excel, as this is used for storing jobs and information.

Good communication. Assessor came at the agreed time and completed all that was necessary. Shoes covers were put on to protect carpets. EPC report was sent in a timely manner once requested documents were sent over.
The one thing I feel could be improved are the visit times to accommodate everyone who works. I requested a late afternoon/evening or weekend appointment and these were not available. Overall a positive experience though.

I had a tricky property to do.  I was told by different companies that I needed special ECPs done that cost a lot of money and time to do.  Contacted Lewis who was a great guy, not as great as me of course, but very good.  Lewis got me a lot of information and also in the end discovered how to get my 3 EPC at the cheap rate.  Then Ken came out to do the inspections, very nice and polite.  Even let me follow him around to learn a bit of what he was doing.  Very knowledgeable and I learned more than I ever wanted to know about ECPs.  I cannot thank them enough, lovely company and very quick also.  Was all done within less than a week even though I needed tricky inspections.  Was told it would take a few months to get what I needed.  If I could give 6 stars, I would want to give 8 still. I recently used Green Energy Switch for an EPC and could not fault them.
Mike was my contact from the start and throughout the process he was professional and friendly. Ken was the assessor who carried out the EPC check, he explained what he would be doing and you could see he was experienced in this field. I received my EPC the next day which was much appreciated.

We had just moved into our new home and were looking for ways to save energy and improve our EPC rating. We spoke to a lovely woman called Tamara who was very knowledgeable and guided us on the services they provide. She informed us about the Leap service at Green Energy Switch and the various interventions they can implement to make our home warmer and improve our EPC.
