When people hear the name Green Energy Switch, they often assume we’re an energy supplier. We hate to disappoint, but we don’t actually supply energy!
The truth is, we’re so much more than that. Everything we do is driven by one simple goal: helping people, businesses and communities reduce their carbon footprint while making energy more affordable, accessible and sustainable.
Sustainability isn’t just something we talk about. It’s one of our core values, and it influences everything we do, from the services we offer to the projects we support and the choices we make as a team.
We’re a Profit-for-Purpose Company!
Unlike many organisations, we don’t exist simply to make a profit in the traditional way.
Green Energy Switch is a profit-for-purpose organisation, meaning all of our profits are gift-aided to our parent charity, PECT.
PECT has been helping people and the planet for over 30 years through projects that improve local communities and tackle environmental challenges. Their work includes:

Making a Difference Together
Our commitment to sustainability doesn’t stop when we leave the office.

ABOUT US
Green Energy Switch (GES) delivers a broad range of energy services across the UK; specialising in working with social landlords and local authorities. Established in 2006, GES is a subsidiary of environmental charity PECT. We gift-aid any profits to PECT to help fund their vital work. In doing so, we are the lead sponsor of their Forest project. So far over 131,000 trees have been planted, equating to a remarkable reduction of over 1,300 tonnes of carbon emission.
