More Than Just an Energy Advice Group

Peterborough Energy Support Hub

We don’t want the Peterborough Energy Support Hub to be just another place for Green Energy Switch updates.

We want to build a community where local people and organisations can come together, share information and help each other.

If you’re a local charity, community group, business or organisation, we’d love you to get involved! Share your projects, events, funding opportunities and services that could benefit Peterborough residents.

And if you’re a resident, we’d love to hear from you too. Ask questions, share your favourite money-saving tips, recommend local services or simply join the conversation.

You might know about a local support scheme that someone else hasn’t heard of, or have a handy energy-saving tip that could make a real difference to another household.

The more people who get involved, the more useful our community becomes!

Looking for Free Home Energy Support?

Did you know that eligible households in Peterborough could also receive a FREE home energy visit through LEAP (Local Energy Advice Partnership)? Delivered locally by Green Energy Switch.

During a visit, an advisor can help you find ways to reduce your energy bills, install free energy-saving measures such as LED light bulbs and draught-proofing, check what financial support you could be entitled to and assess your eligibility for additional schemes, including free appliance replacements.

We’ll regularly share LEAP updates in the group, along with other local and national support opportunities.

You can also find out more about LEAP and apply for a free home energy visit on our website.

Join the Peterborough Energy Support Hub Today!

Whether you’re looking for help with your bills, want to share useful advice or simply want to stay informed, we’d love you to be part of our growing community.

No judgement, no silly questions, just local people helping local people save money, stay informed and access the support available to them.

And if you know someone in Peterborough who could benefit, why not invite them along too?

We hope to see you there!

ABOUT US

Green Energy Switch (GES) delivers a broad range of energy services across the UK; specialising in working with social landlords and local authorities. Established in 2006, GES is a subsidiary of environmental charity PECT. We gift-aid any profits to PECT to help fund their vital work. In doing so, we are the lead sponsor of their Forest project. So far over 131,000 trees have been planted, equating to a remarkable reduction of over 1,300 tonnes of carbon emission.
