Green Energy Switch Wins at Energy Efficiency Awards 2021
As a team we are pleased to say that we attended the East of England Energy Efficiency Awards 2021 and won two awards.

Supporting People When It Mattered Most
It is safe to say our team are extremely happy and it is wonderful to be recognised for the work we do with local residents even through the months of lockdown when we were trying to still reach as many people as we could with our energy advice and free products that would help keep their energy bills down.
It gave us the opportunity to see what other businesses have been achieving and really it is very heartwarming to see so many organisations in this sector helping those that need it and undertaking projects that will benefit people. The Energy Efficiency Awards are a place where these businesses and individuals can be recognised for their work.

As a profit-for-purpose organisation we are a little different in that all our profits go to a local environmental charity – PECT – that has been working with local communities on sustainable and environmental projects for over 10 years.
There are so many people out there that need a little help so we will continue building on our successes.

ABOUT US
Green Energy Switch (GES) delivers a broad range of energy services across the UK; specialising in working with social landlords and local authorities. Established in 2006, GES is a subsidiary of environmental charity PECT. We gift-aid any profits to PECT to help fund their vital work. In doing so, we are the lead sponsor of their Forest project. So far over 131,000 trees have been planted, equating to a remarkable reduction of over 1,300 tonnes of carbon emission.
