What Does It Show?
*The figures are based on National Minimum Wage rates, average standing charge costs, average void turnaround times, and the average time spent completing utility-related tasks – as of August 2025.
- Potential Savings on Standard Voids
This shows how much money you could potentially save if you let us manage 8 of your void properties. This is assuming they’re empty for 2 weeks, which is the current national average void period.
We provide £15 Void Credit per meter and clear the standing charges on credit meters. For prepayment meters, we’ll clear the previous tenant’s debt for you, so you can get power back on without the hassle. - Savings on Long-Term Voids
This works in the same way but for your long-term void properties. For properties empty for more than 12 weeks, we’ll clear up to 30 days of standing charges. Both meters will still receive the £15 Void Credit. - Time Saved Dealing with Suppliers
This shows how much time and money in staff costs you could save because we deal with the energy suppliers on your behalf.
That means no more chasing suppliers for top-ups or meter appointments. No more lifting objections and no more trying to get energy accounts transferred into your organisation’s name. We take care of it all.
- Prepayment Meter Top-Ups
We also take the hassle out of managing standard prepayment meters.
Instead of someone from your team having to visit a shop to top up a key or card, we can do it for you. We have a Payzone at our office, so we can collect RTIs, preload prepayment keys or cards, and send them directly to the property or your office, whichever you prefer. Of course, if you’d rather manage this yourself, you still can.
As with all first-time keys, cards or RTIs, each includes the £15 Void Credit. Even better, all top-up requests can be made through our online portal, making it quicker and easier than ever to get power back on. - Consolidated Billing
Now this is where you’ll really think, “Where has Green Energy Switch been all my life?”.
Instead of receiving separate bills for every single void property, we’ll consolidate everything. So you’ll get one simple monthly invoice and we’ll send it directly to your billing department.
Our dedicated billing team reviews every property and every meter reading to make sure your bills are accurate, your £15 Void Credit has been applied, and you’re paying as little as possible. It saves your team valuable time while helping reduce your costs. - Meter Appointments
Last but certainly not least, we manage all of your meter appointments for you.
