Green Energy Switch Wins ‘Best Customer Service’ at the Peterborough Business Excellence Awards
We are beyond thrilled to announce that we won the Customer Service Award at the Peterborough Business Excellence Awards, held at the Holiday Inn West in Peterborough. Over 200 people attended the glittering black-tie ceremony. And there were 13 categories to be awarded. The evening was a fantastic celebration of local businesses. It’s safe to say, we had the pleasure of enjoying a lovely three-course meal in great company. The staff were incredibly friendly, and it was a brilliant opportunity to mingle with other companies, learning about their journeys and the challenges they’ve faced. The whole event was a reminder of the vibrant and supportive business community we are proud to be part of.
The guest speaker, Jamie McAnsh, shared his incredible story of resilience. He told guests how he had woken up one day to find himself paralysed from the waist down. However, after learning to walk again, he went on to complete 12 extreme challenges. His inspiring story of overcoming adversity set the tone for the evening.
This year, Peterborough Telegraph had the highest number of applicants ever, so we knew going in that the competition was going to be fierce. After making it through the shortlist and impressing the judging panel at the interview stage, all that hard work paid off. We are thrilled to have won the Best Customer Service Award! We have admired this prestigious event for years. So winning truly feels like an incredible achievement and a testament to the dedication of our team.
Our Brilliant Team Made This Possible
Over the past year, our Home Energy Team have gone above and beyond to support local residents in Peterborough and the surrounding areas, who are facing tough challenges like rising energy bills. Their dedication to tackling fuel poverty, especially during the colder months, has been nothing short of amazing.
At the same time, our Voids Team work tirelessly to support housing associations and councils across the UK, ensuring that energy is managed efficiently in their void properties. They go above and beyond to help homes get re-let quickly. As well as ensure new tenants move in without any power or meter issues. We are incredibly proud that their hard work has received recognition.
As a small, profit-for-purpose company, customer service is at the heart of everything we do. Therefore, receiving this recognition is an honour we truly value. We would like to extend a huge thank you to the Peterborough Telegraph for hosting such a glamorous evening. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the successes of local businesses and acknowledge the hard work and dedication that drives our community forward.
